And do you know what’s the worst part? It’s that you’re here, coaching someone I believe will be on the team, and you know how you’re teaching him? You’re teaching him to get completely drunk like you.
Marcus appeared to angrily leave the restaurant, telling the producers outside that he hadn’t anticipated Lisa attacking him in that way. He also stated that his coworkers were acting similarly, but he was the one who “got caught.”
Lisa Vanderpump shares the process of choosing the cast for the reboot
As Vanderpump RulesReboot is here, and the season premiere has already generated significant attention. Longtime cast member Lisa Vanderpump recently shared insights into how these individuals were chosen for the new season.
Lisa described how the cast members were already employed at SUR when they were contacted about the reboot. Lisa added,
I was aware we had another team of dedicated individuals who had been here for many years. So I thought, ‘Okay, let’s put them in front of the camera and see what the network thinks,’ and they really liked them, but the genuine nature was crucial for me,” she explained regarding the new group. “I didn’t want to begin from scratch and try to gather a group of people to work for me. That wouldn’t have been effective.
While discussing the casting in more detail, Lisa mentioned that a few additional characters were introduced later into the game before filming began. Lisa admitted that she wanted to be part of a “group that has unity and genuine chemistry.” The Bravo celebrity added further.
Marcus, Kim, and Demy, they had all worked here, along with Venus, for many years. I mean, I’m not returning to the original group, but [they were working here] definitely for a few years. So there was already a sense of familiarity at the restaurant. Like how we [how] took Scheana and Tom Sandoval, they used to work at Villa Blanca in the past. But with this group, no, they were here and they were doing it.
